So I have been required to write a blog for one of my class's at SJSU.

This is my third semester at SJSU and like my fourth senior year since I decided to return to finish my education. I transferred from a school in the midwest where I ultimately fell one class short of graduating since my advisor left and I got to tired of being cold.

For my 100 W course assignment I must list two vocabulary words and define them.

So I the two words I have picked, Cougar and Shenanigans.

In current society a Cougar is an older female who is either attracted to younger males or dates younger males. It is also an animal that is related to the feline family. Mercury also designed and sold the Cougar automobile. Although the Cougar automobile has not been produced since the early 2000's.

Shenanigans is a word that is commonly used in todays society to call out another individual if they are not being forth coming on a sequence of events that has happened. An example of this might be Harry telling Jane a story on why he forget to pick up the avacado at the store. Jane seeing right through Harry's nonsense interupts his story and says "shenanigans".

  1. "Cougar" was new word for you? The Mid West might be a little behind the times, but not that much.

Be careful of the use of "like" as in "and like my fourth senior year" -- it reads here as though you're doing a comparison. What you probably mean to write is "and in what feels to be my 4th senior year".
